Mission Statement:
Membership in this section shall include medical student members enrolled in a medical school in Philadelphia approved by this society. Each medical school in Philadelphia approved by this society shall be entitled to one representative to the governing council of this section, provided that it is established that the representative was elected by the majority of the medical student members at the medical college, or in accordance with election procedures established by the medical student members at the medical college. Medical student members shall have all rights of membership except the right to vote and hold office other than the chairman, who will sit on the board of directors with voice and vote. The governing council shall annually elect from its members a chairman, vice chairman, and secretary. The regular functions of this section shall include, but not be limited to, the addressing and resolving of common concerns of medical students.
